Obituary	CLYDE MERRILL SR. Clyde G. Merrill Sr., 62 , of Dexter died at a Dexter hospital Jan. 29 after a long illness. He was born Dec. 1, 1911 in Dexter the son of Floyd and Cary (Littlefield) Merrill. He was employed by the Fay and Scott Landis Machine Co., for some 33 years until his retirement. He is a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Adeline (LaBree) Merrill of Dexter, two sons Charles of Newport and Clyde Jr., of Dexter, three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Sherri) Mulligan of Malden, Mass., Mrs. Larry (Cynthia) Richards of New Britain, Conn., and Mrs. Mike (Jane) Sawyer of South Walpole, Mass., two sisters Mrs. John (Glenice) Adams of Northeast Harbor and Mrs. Lloyd Holland of North Windham, Me.; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Rosary will be said Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Friends wishing may contribute to the cancer fund in memory of Clyde Merrill. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
