Obituary	MRS. MATTIE S. PACKARD Mrs. Mattie S. Packard, 73, died Sept. 30 at her home following a long illness. She was born Westfield, Aug. 4, 1899, the daughter of Gordon and Cora (Ross) Nelson. She had lived in Dexter most of her life and was a member of the First Universalist Church of Dexter and of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Sunshine Club. Surviving is a daughter, Miss Helen Packard of Dexter. Funeral services were held Monday at the Crosby-Neal Chapel in Dexter. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
