Obituary
EDWARD F. JOCK Edward F. Jock 70, died Aug. 18 in a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born at Dexter Feb. 1, 1902, the son of Frank and Eliza (Pooler) Jock. He was a lifelong resident of Dexter and was employed by local mills and was self-employed as a painter. He was a member of the Dexter Grange the Dexter Fish and Game Association, and St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nathalie Gilbert of Parkman, and Miss Georgiana Jock of Bangor; three daughters, Mrs. George (Georgia) Fortier of Ottawa, Canada and Mrs. Lloyd (Maxine) Cookson of Cambridge, and Mrs. Albertine Chadbourne of Connecticut; two stepsons, Olan Burton of Dexter and Vernon Burton of Springfield, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Walter (Gertrude) Field of Dexter and Mrs. Malcolm (Winifred) Mitchell of East Cornith; and 25 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Anne's Church, Dexter. Rosary was said Sunday at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
