Obituary	GEORGE E. GREEN George E. Green, 72, died July 16 at Benton Station after a long illness. He was born in Mill-Hill Blackburn, England, Feb. 26, 1900. He had lived in Dexter for 49 years before moving to Benton Station two years ago. He was employed by the Crown Alexander Woolen Mill in Dexter for many years. He served in the British Army in World War I, and was a communicnat of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Norman (Virginia) Alley of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Herbert (Stella) Richards of Exeter, Mrs. John (Cecilia) Wortman of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. George Ansbro, Mrs. Lawrence Livsey, Mrs. Eva Sanderson, Mrs. Elsie Thompson, all of England; one brother, John Green of New Bedford, Mass.; eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Anne's Church. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
