Obituary	MISS RUTH THOMPSON Miss Ruth Thompson, 73, died at a Bangor hospital May 23 following a short illness. She was born in Sangerville, April 20, 1899, the daughter of William and Ethel (Brown) Thompson. She graduated from Dexter High School and the former Shaw Business College in Bangor. She was employed at the Dexter branch of the Merrill Trust Co., and at the office of Dumbarton Woolen Mill and at the Fay-scott-Landis Machine Co., retiring in 1966. She was affiliated with the First Universalist Church and was a member of the Boneka Club of the church. She was a past matron and life member of Wassookeag Chapter, O.E.S. She is survived by a nephew, William Thompson, of Greenland, N. H. Funeral services are being held Thursday (today) at 1:30 p.m. at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. Dexter, the Rev. Robert W. Sterling officiating.
