Obituary	JOSEPH H. SEAVEY Joseph H. Seavey, 59, died Feb. 17 at his home in Detroit. He was born at Exeter, July 17, 1912, the son of Charles and Lilla Wheeler Seavey. He was a farmer in Detroit for many years and was also employed by the Walpole Co. at Detroit for 23 years, serving as a plant manager at one time. He also served with the U. S. Army overseas. A member of the Pittsfield Masonic Order, he also belonged to the Methodist Church at Detroit and was a former member of the Pittsfield Odd Fellows and Newport Grange. Survivors include his widow, Florence Hanscom Seavey of Detroit; a son, Richard Wyman of Cranford, N.J.; two brothers, Carleton and Linwood of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Alice) Bennett and Mrs. Melzer Hartford of Dexter; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Masonic funeral services were held at Crosby-Neal Funeral Home Friday. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
