Obituary
Henry A. Maas Henry A. Maas, a prosperous and respected farmer of this'Community died Thursday, March 29, at the Willow Crest Home in Randolph, Maine where he had been cared for for several months. Funeral services were held from the Ramsay and Gates Funeral parlor Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Walter R. Towle officiating. The bearers were Hugh Hutchins, Roland Kittredge, Sheldon Strout and Millard Otto. Burial will be in the Storer cemetery a little later this spring. Mr. Maas was born about 82 years ago in one of the western states, In 1906 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Hutchins, in Mena, Arkansas and shortly after they came to Dexter where they purchased the farm about three miles from town just off the Canibridge road, where they always lived. Mrs. Maas died last year. No children were ever born to the couple. Mr. Maas suffered an injury to his back a number of years ago and since that time has been able to walk only by the use of crutches.
