Obituary	CHARLES H. FOLSOM Charles H. Folsom, 77, of Augusta died March 29 at a Dexter hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Portland the son of Lindley H. and Ida (Hayden) Folsom. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1912 and the University of Maine in Orono in 1916. A civil engineer, he was employed by the State of Maine Highway Department for many years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers and the Maine Society of Civil Engineers. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Joan) Edgerly of Meriden, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) Bird of Dexter: four grandchildren; one nephew two nieces. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, Augusta with the Rev. Douglas Robbins officiating.
