MRS. SYLVIA M. CLUKEY Mrs. Sylvia M. Clukey, wife of Clifford Clukey, died Friday morning at the Plummer Hospital following a long illness. She was 57 years of age. Born in Dexter Jan. 7, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred (Ganeau) Clukey was educated in local schools, and was employed by woolen mills in this area. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church here and St. Anne Sodality at the church. She was also a Gold Star Mother. Surviving are her husband, a son Roger, stationed with a unit of the United States Navy at Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Judy) Berube of Dover-Foxcroft; six brothers, Vincent Clukey of Pittsfield, Raymond Clukey of Dixfield, Gerald Clukey of Guilford, David Clukey of Corinna, Carroll Clukey of Cambridge, and Eugene Clukey of Great Britain; several sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Veronica) Champeon of Greenville, Mrs. Christopher (Evangeline) Pullyard of Sangerville, Mrs. Frank (Regina) Webb of Pittsfield, Mrs. Alton (Gloria) Cross of town, Mrs. Paul (Barbara) Cook of Guilford, Mrs. Richard (Dorilda) Worster and Mrs. Donald (Shirley Worster, both of Corinna; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday at St. Anne's Church. Rosary and prayers were recited Sunday at Crosby Funeral Home.
