Obituary	MRS. FLOSSIE ADAMS Mrs. Flossie Russell Adams, 93, died Friday afternoon at her home in Dexter. She was born in Exeter Oct. 16, 1887, daughter of William and Lucretia Glidden Walker. She was a member of the Charleston Pentecostal church. She was the widow of Havelock Adams, who died earlier this year. She had lived in the Dexter-Garland area for the past 50 years. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Frances) Sweester of Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Gertrude Cohen of Indonesia, Mrs. Harold (Gwendolyn) Lancaster of Dexter and Mrs. Pauline Berry of Kennebunk; one step-daughter, Mrs. Louis (Greta) Fitzgerald of Garland; nine step-sons, Harold Adams of Washburn, Arnold Adams of Brewer, Edwin Adams of Hudson, Earl Adams of Garland, Raleigh and Bernard Adams of Mapleton, Forrest and Leonard Adams of Bangor and Milford Adams of E. Corinth; one sister, Mrs. Doris Chapman of Bangor; two step-brothers, Lewarl and Frank Towle of Bangor; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Spring burial will be in the West Garland Cemetery.
