Obituary	THOMAS J. LEWIA Thomas J. Lewia, 62, died Dec. 3 at a Waterville hospital after a short illness. He was born Skowhegan Sept. 11, 1908, the son of Henry and Rose (Giroux) Lewia. He was married to the former Clara MacBride in 1937 at Skowhegan. He was a graduate of Skowhegan High School and had been employed by the Dexter Shoe Co. for the past 14 years as a cutting room foreman. He was a former member and grand knight of Somerset Council, Knights of Columbus. Survivors besides his widow of Dexter include a son, Dennis of Newport, R.I.; a daughter, Miss Bridget Lewia of Dexter; three brothers, Carlton and Carroll of Skowhegan, and Henry of Johnson, Vt.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Shea of Skowhegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, Skowhegan. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Skowhegan.
