Obituary	ALICE W. BEARCE Mrs. Alice W. Bearce, 93, died Sept. 6 at a Bar Harbor hospital after a short illness. She was born in Sangerville Dec. 13, 1886, the daughter of John and Mary Littlefield Weymouth. She had been a resident of Dexter for 35 years, a member of the Methodist Church, a former member and past president of the WSCS, and a member of the Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by two sons, Douglas W., of AIton, Il.; John C. of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Dainel (Margaret) Oakes of Pittsfield, Mrs. G. Maynard (Evelyn) Smith of Trenton; one sister, Mrs. Grace Bryant of Dover-Foxcroft; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece and several cousins. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Lary Funeral Home in Dover-Foxcroft with the Rev. Ida M. Folsom officiating. Burial was in Sangerville Village Cemetery.
