MERVIN HASKELL Mervin "Rusty" Haskell, 64, died Aug. 10 at a Bangor hospital. He was born at Sebois, May 27, 1906, the son of Herman and Phebe (Smart) Haskell. He attended Sebois Schools and spent most of his adult life in Dexter where he was employed by Amos Abbott Company woolen mill. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Helen (Clark) Haskell of Dexter; his mother of Old Orchard Beach; a stepmother, Mrs. Herman Haskell of Sebois; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Page of Orange, Mass., and Mrs. Philip (Bernice) Forrester of Shrewsbury, Mass.; one step-son, Owen Clark of Dexter; four brothers, Ralph of Pennsylvannia; Elwin of Virginia; Neil of Howland and Adelbert of Sebois; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Levesque and Mrs. Emma Haley both of Old Orchard, and Mrs. Una Mason of Bath; nine granchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Philip Mather of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
