Obituary
CARL J. COBB Carl J. Cobb, 65, died Aug. 3 at a Somerville, N.J., hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Dover-Foxcroft. He had lived at Finderne, N.J., for the past 15 years, and was a maintenance supervisor for the Her cules Powder Co. in Parlin, N.J., for 29 years before retiring last March. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Bound Brook Moose Lodge. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Elsie (Ludwig) Cobb of Finderne, N.J.; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Cobb of South Dartmouth, Mass.; three sons, Carl, Jr., of Dexter, Alton of Methuen, Mass., and James of South Brunswick, N.J., three daughters, Mrs. Jacquelin Penson of Milltown, N.J. Mrs. Anna Margaritell of Sayreville, N.J., and Mrs. Virginia Blessington of Edison, N.J.; three brothers, Freemand of New Bedford, Mass., Stanley of Westfield, N.J., and Nathaniel of Waterville; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Perry of South Dartmouth, Mass., Mrs. Helena Godreau of Dexter, Mrs. Ethel Trial of Billerica, Mass., and Mrs. Eva Giambusso of Roxbury, Mass. and 23 grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Thursday and burial was in a Somerville, N.J. cemetery.
