THOMAS BRADBURY CARD A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in memory of Thomas B. Card at the Church of the Messiah, Episcopal, Silver's Mills Road, Dexter, Saturday at 3 p.m. The Rev. John P. Miller of Bangor will be the celebrant assisted by Gordon A. Reynolds, vicar of Dexter. Following the service committal services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in his memory to the Church of The Messiah, Episcopal, in care of Mrs. Florence B. Leighton, treasurer, Dexter. Thomas B. Card, 59, of Westwood, Rd., Somerville, Mass., formerly of Dexter, died at the Shattuck Hospital, Jamaica Plain, Mass., on June 1. The son of the late J. Gray Card and Louis Bridgham Card, of Dexter, he is survived by two brothers, Robert W. of Gloucester, Mass., and James H. of Milton, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. James (Frances) Cannon of Niles, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Bowdoin College in the class of 1933. He spent several years in the Merchant Marines. At the time of his death he was a junior examiner for Division of Civil Service, State House, Boston, Mass. Death came from complications resulting from malaria contracted in Africa last fall while on vacation. Memorial services were held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Rockport, Mass., early in June. Cremation was at Harmony Grove Salem, Mass.
