Obituary
MARVIN B. WILLIAMS Marvin Burr Williams, 64, died June 16 at a Dexter hospital following a short illness. Williams was born March 6, 1906, at Amity, the son of Bina and Nellie (Tracy) Williams. He had lived at Dexter for the past three years and had been employed in a grocery store. Before coming to Dexter he had lived in Waterville-Winslow area and had been employed by the Clinton Woolen Mill. He had been a member of the Clinton Lions Club. Survivors are his widow Lena of Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Irene) Murdock, Jr., of Dexter; his father of Dexter; four brothers Blaine, Perley and Leonard, all of Dexter and Hershell of Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Orman (Velma) Gray of Troy, Mrs. Norman (Muriel) Ward of Unity, Mrs. Harold (Pansy) Clark of Corinna; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Philip Mather officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Pittsfield.
