Obituary	MRS. ELSIE MAE HIGGINS Mrs. Wendell F. (Elsie Mae) Higgins, 69, died May 31 at Bangor hospital after a period of failing heath. She was born in Woburn, Mass., Nov. 3, 1900, the daughter of Harmon H. and Louise Wrye. She was a member of the First Universalist Church of Dexter and of the Ladies Aid of that church. She was also a member of the Senior Extension and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband of Dexter; a son, John H. Higgins of Augusta; a sister, Mrs. John (Ella) Anderson of Pompano Beach Fla.; and two granddaughters, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Moore of Augusta and Mrs. Paul J. (Pamela) Beaulieu of Waterville. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Universalist Church with the Rev. John FJ McNally Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft.
