Obituary	EUGENE J. VEILLEUX Eugene J. Veilleux, 73 died May 20 at Newport, R.I. Hospital after a four months illness. He came to Dexter in 19l6 and worked at Wassookeag School, later Hatch Prep until 1942 when he went with the Hatches to Newport, R.I. He has been superintendent of buildings at Newport School for Girls and groundskeeper at the Miramar Girls School. Mr. Veilleux was born May 24, 1896, in St. Come, Quebec, a son of Joseph and Adele Poulin Veilleux. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clarina Letourneau Veilleux of Newport, R.I.; two daughters, Miss Yolande Veilleux of Newport, R.I., and Mrs. Jack Brooks of Miami, Fla., and two brothers, the Rev. Lorenzo Veilleux and Fred Veilleux of St. Come. He also leaves three nephews in Dexter, Rudolph Roger and Romeo Vigue. High Requiem Mass was said at St. Mary's Church with burial in St. Columba's Cemetery, Newport R.I.
