Obituary	DANIEL D. REID Daniel D. Reid, 77, died Friday at the Plummer Hospital after a short illness. He was born Sept. 15, 1892, at Ballylongford County, Kerry, Ireland, the son of Richard J. and Nora Reid. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, and a veteran of World War I with the U.S. Army. He moved to this country in 1914, settling in Lawrence, Mass. He moved to Dexter in 1939 as a cook for the NYA. He later went to work in the Fayscott Machine Shop, from which he retired some years ago He is survived by a son, Richard J. Reid of Dexter; five sisters, Miss Josephine Reid and Mrs. May Sherry, both of Lawrence, Mass., Mrs. Julie Smith of Glendale, Ariz. and Mrs. Margaret Smith and Mrs. Nora Smith, both of Chicago, Ill., three brothers, Patrick of Chicago, and Bryan and Michael of Lawrence, Mass.; four grandsons, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Lemieux officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
