Obituary
Albert L. Farr. Albert L. Farr died suddenly early Sunday morning at the home of his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Mosley Free street, where with Mrs. Farr he was spending the weekend. He was born in Westminster, Vermont, December 3, 1871 and in his younger life he was an electrician. He came to Dexter in 1917 and worked for about five years at the Fay and Scott machine shops. For a number of years he was secretary and treasurer of the Federal Land Bank of Springfield, Mass. He was an Odd Fellow for many years and also a member of the Grange. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Helen Farr; four children, Don W. Farr, Mrs. Marie J. Gilman, Mrs. Marjorie H. Mosley and Mrs. Evelyn Eddy. Another daughter, Theresa died in childhood. There are also eleven grandchildren, Lewis Gilman, Air Corps, Texas, Walter Gilman, Air Corps, Georgia; Eugene Mosley, with the Infantry in Germany; Miss Arlene Mosley,Washington, D. C.; Philip Mosley with the Marines in California, Ruth, Marilyn and Janet Mosley in Dexter; Clifton, Dorothy and Mary Eddy of Dover-Foxcroft, also one great- granddaughter Patricia Sharon Mosley of Dover- Foxcroft. Funeral services were held from the Mosley home Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. J. K. Halliday officiating. Bearers were grandchildren. The body was placed in the receiving tomb to await burial at Corinna Center in the Spring.
