Obituary	MRS. AGNES SAWTELLE Mrs. Agnes (Louise) Sawtelle, 70, died Sunday evening at the Plummer Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Dexter July 10, 1898, the daughter of Charles and Emma Libby Bates. She was a Dexter resident most of her life and was a member of the Dexter Grange. Surviving besides her husband, Earl S. Sawtelle of Dexter, are two sons, George Wayne Sawtelle and Elmer Carl Sawtelle, both of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Carson of Corinna and Mrs. Jean Edgerly of Dexter; 16 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Philip Mather, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Crockett Cemetery, St. Albans, later this spring.
