Obituary	AMOS ADAMS Amos Hayward Adams, 76, died at his son's home in Detroit Friday following a long illness. He was born Nov. 24, 1892, at Hartland, N. B.; the son of John and Christine (Fisher) Adams. He had lived in Hudson for 30 years and in Detroit for the past two years. He was a retired farmer and a former Hudson selectman. He was a member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jane (Nichols) Adams of Detroit; one son, John of Detroit; five daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Margaret) Brawn of Glenburn; Mrs. (Rena) Dubray of Bangor, Mrs. George (Fern) Mudgett of Kenduskeag, Mrs. Frederick (Althea) Marshall of Hudson and Mrs. Robert (Pauline) Staples of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Campbell of Old Town and Mrs. Dora Embelton of Rockville, Conn.; 32 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday in the Charleston Pentecostal Church.
