Obituary	BENJAMIN J. DAIGLE Benjamin J. Daigle, 68, died Tuesday at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. He was born at St. Charles, New Brunswick, Can. Sept. 17, 1960, the son of Valentne and Susan Chevery. He came to Dexter 50 years ago. For many years he was employed as foreman in the spinning room of Dumbarton Woolen Mill in Dexter. In his later years he was employed part-time at the Dexter Shoe Company. He was a member of World War Catholic Church in Dexter. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Canadian Army. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Daigle of Dexter; two sons, Vincent of Azusa, Calif., Ernest of Dexter, Mrs. Harold (Madeline) Pelletier of East Hartford, Conn.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Richard of Waterville, Mrs. Madeline Richard of St. Louis, province of N. B., Can., Mrs. Ludivine Breau of Bas Neguac, N. B., Can., Mrs. Henrietta Gallant of Moncton, N. B. Can.; six grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Lucien Mandeville, pastor, officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemeetery in Dexter. Since his retirement about five years ago he had worked parttime at the Dexter Shoe Company, Inc. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Canadian Army, and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary (Daigle) Daigle; two sons, Vincent of Azuza, Calif., and Ernest of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Gloria) Nadeau of Dexter and Mrs. Harold (Madelyn) Pelletier of East Hartford, Conn.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Richard of Waterville, Mrs. Madelyn Richard of St. Louis, N.B., Mrs. Ludvine Breau of BasNeguac, N.B. and Mrs. Henrietta Gallant of Moncton, N.,B.: and six grandchildren.
