Obituary	GEORGIE ANNA JOCK Georgie Anna Jock, 72, died Nov. 13 in a Bangor hospital following a long illness. She was born Jan. 18, 1896 at Dexter, the daughter of George and Cordelia (Puffer) Thurston. Mrs. Jock attended Dexter schools and was a life-long resident of Dexter. She worked in local woolen mills and other business establishments for years and was a past member of the Dexter Grange and a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Edward; one brother, Harry Thurston, Dexter; two daughters, Gertrude Field of Dexter and Winifred Mitchell of East Corinth; two sons, Olan Burton of Dexter and Vernon Burton of Springfield, Mass.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Georgia Fortier, Ottawa, Canada, Mrs. Maxine Cookson, Cambridge; also several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter, Saturday with the Rev. Philip Mather of the First Baptist Church officiating, Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Dexter.
