Obituary	MRS. ELISE BARROWS Mrs. Elise (Prescott) Barrows, 75, widow of Spike Barrows, died Saturday at the Plummer Memorial Hospital, Dexter following a long illness. She was born April 18, 1893, at Exeter, the daughter of Sylvester and Elfie (Shaw) Prescott. She moved to Garland about 25 years ago after having lived in Dexter for 17 years where her husband was in the trucking and coal business. She was a member of the Grange. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George (Elfie) Guptil of Garland; two brother, Ralph of Georgetown, Mass. and Bernard of Waterbury, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Eona Morton of Bangor; two cousins; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with lay preacher Frederick Marsh officiating. Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery, E. Corinth.
