Obituary	RALEIGH SMART Raleigh Fletcher Smart, 77, died Sunday in the Togus Veterans' Hospital following a long illness. He was born at Dexter, Dec. 31, 1890 the son of George A. and Marion (Brann) Smart. He was a World War I veteran and graduated from Dexter High School. Smart worked as custodian at the Dexter Post Office until retiring about 12 years ago. He was a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and affiliated organizations. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Grace) Packard and Miss Marion Smart, both of Norwood, Mass., and Mrs. Almon (Kathryn) Page of Dexter; three stepdaughters; several stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. John FJ McNally officiating. Burial was be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
