Obituary	MRS. MILDRED BUXTON Mrs. Mildred W. Buxton, 84, widow of Roy J. Buxton, died Oct. 2 in a Dexter hospital following a long illness. She was born at Dexter, April 19, 1884, the daughter of Augustus and Mary (Jumper) Whitcomb. She attended Dexter schools and had lived in Corinna for 48 years. She attended the Corinna Methodist Church and was a past matron of the Bath OES Chapter and was a past matron and life-member of the Corinna OES Chapter. She also was a member of the Corinna Rebekah Lodge and a life-long member of the Corinna WSCS, and past president of the Corinna Literary Club. Mrs. Buxton was a member and past regent of the DAR in Pittsfield. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Kathryn) Pinkerton of Corinna; one son, Robert of Dexter; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two cousins, one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Crosby Funeral Home, Corinna, with the Rev. William Morley officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
