Vietnam Casualty Cpl. Gerald J. Frost, 20, husband of Linda (Simpson) Frost of Dover, N. H., has been killed in action in Vietnam. The Army has notified his family that he was killed during an Infantry action in the Southeast Asian country. He entered the Army in July 1967 and was sent to Vietnam in January of this year. He had won a Bronze Star. Survivors include his wife Linda, a daughter, Tina Marie, his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bergeron; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Frost; a brother, Dwayne and a sister Marcia; four half brothers and two half sisters Dale, Clifton, Travis, Tracy, Sally and Madalyn. His grandparents; aunt and uncle; cousin; Mr. and Mrs. James Cookson of Dexter; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark and Quentin of Dover-Foxcroft attended the funeral services in Dover, N. H. He was born in Dexter Dec. 9, 1947, the son of Gerald M. Frost and Mabel Cookson Frost. He was employed as an electrician prior to entering the service. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Frost of St. Albans and maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Cookson of Dexter. Full military honors were accorded by a detail from Ft. Devens.
