Obituary	MRS. MURIEL DAY Mrs. Muriel Day, 71, died Sunday in a Milo hospital after a long illness. She was born Feb. 8, 1897, at Garland, the daughter of William and Addie (Oakes) Packard. She was a life-long Garland resident except for the past two years, during which she lived with her son in East Corinth. She attended Charleston Pentecostal Church. Surviving are her husband, Fred Day of Oakland; a daughter, Mrs. Aubrey Dunfee of Bradford; two sons, Everett of East Corinth and Stanley of Oakland; one sister, Mrs. Irma Colbath of Dexter; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Charleston Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ronald E. Libby officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Garland.
