HARRY H. BAIN Harry H. Bain, 65, died Friday at his home on Spring st., in Dexter after a long illness. He was born Oct. 12, 1903, in Elgin, New Brunswick, the son of William and Ida Henderson Deag Bain. He was a former member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance on the Canadian Pacific Railway, where he had worked for more than 50 years, retiring last year because of ill health. He came to Dexter seven years ago. He leaves his widow, Leona Bain of Dexter; five step-sons, Arthur Knowles of Cambridge, N. Y., Norman Knowles of Valedao, Calif., Reginald Knowles of Milo and Barry Knowles of Forrestown, N. Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Hartford, Mrs. John Day and Mrs. Harry Day, all of Dexter and Mrs. Kenneth Chambers of St. Albans; two brothers, Claude Bain of Brownville Junction and Gerald Bain of Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Brown of Lancaster, N.B., and Mrs. Jessie Mulherin of Portland; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, Monday with the Rev. Gordon Parlin of the Dexter Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in the Dover-Foxcroft Village Cemetery.
