Obituary	ERNEST L. "CY" JOHNSON Ernest L. "Cy" Johnson, 50, a native of Dexter and former resident died late Saturday night at a Pittsfield hospital following a long illness. Born Oct. 3, 1909, son of Frenie (Carr) and the late Forrest Johnson, he worked in the Dexter area many years and was employed at a Dexter bowling alley. He was a laborer several summers for the Dexter Cemetery trustees. Johnson moved to Newport in 1957 and managed the Score Mor Bowling Lanes. Surviving are his mother of Garland, five brothers, Frank, also of Garland, Floyd of North Newport, Raymond of Dexter, Clarence of Waldoboro, and Eldon of Gardiner; a sister, Mrs. Shirley Fish of Dexter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held Tuesday at Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Mather, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Spring interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
