Obituary	Mrs. Philip Maynard Mrs. Philip Maynard, 49, died suddenly Sunday night at her home in Newport where she had moved only recently from Dexter. She was born in Guilford the daughter of Nelson and Rose Richards, and had lived in Dexter the greater part of her life. She was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge and the Methodist church. Surviving are her husband, Philip, two sons, Cpl. Richard Maynard of he U. S. Marine corps, stationed in North Carolina, and Westley of Newport; a daughter, Miss Kathryn Maynard of Newport; two brothers, Westley Richards of Dexter and Abner of Corinna; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Pomroy of Dexter, two aunts, Mrs. Katherine Clark of Sangerville and Miss Bernice Richards of Dexter, also several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church this afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. Frederick Niles officiating. The bearers were Hollis Maynard, Alden Maynard, Randall Atwater, Bernard Pomroy. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
