Obituary	WILLIAM H. GLIDDEN William H. Glidden, 94, died in a Pittsfield hospital early Wednesday morning. He was born in Greenbush, May 10, 1873, the son of Franklin and Charlotte (Avery) Glidden. He had been a resident of Dexter for 52 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had belonged to Penobscot Lodge of Masons for well over 50 years, having served several years as tyler. For 25 years he was janitor and truant officers at Spring St. School. He is survived by one son, William J. Glidden of Ripley; five daughters, Mrs. Olla Libby, Augusta; Mrs. Charlotte Vulner, Dover-Foxcroft; Mrs. Evelyn Martindale, Bangor; Mrs. Annie Bran and Miss Rena Glidden, both of Dexter. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home Thursday afternoon and evening. Services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home Friday at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Philip Mather officiating. Spring burial will be in the So. Dover Cemetery.
