Obituary	Mrs. Alice C. Bamber Mrs. Alice C. Bamber, 82, died Wednesday morning at her home on Grove street after a few days illness following a shock suffered Sunday. She had been in her usual good health, until that time. Mrs. Bamber was born in Atkinson, September 10, 1862 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Levenseller. In early life she was married to William L. Brown and to them were born five children. After his death, she married George Bamber, who died several years ago. She has been a resident of Dexter forty-two years, coming here from Dover. Mrs. Bamber was a member of the Dexter Methodist church and of the Women's Society of Christian Service and always interested in the activities of the church. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Edith Fanjoy, Miss Maude Brown and Mrs. Roxie Page of Dexter; three sons Leslie M. and Lloyd E. Brown of New Hampshire and Donald Bamber of Bangor; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Mason of Saco, Mrs. Bessie Sands of Spencer, Mass.; two brothers, Pearl Levenseller of Dexter and Leslie Levenseller of Atkinson; 25 grandchildren; several great, grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Serving in the Armed Forces at the present time are three grandchilden, Lt. Omar Nisbet, in Alabama; Pvt. Kenneth Nisbet, overseas; Lt. Ervin Brown, prisoner of war in Germany. Also six great grandchildren: Pfc. Maurice Provost, in the Philippines; Pvt. Roy Provost in England; Shirley Provost, Naval Training school, Sampson, N. Y.; Pvt. Erlon Bamber,, overseas; MM3/c Martin Richards, SeaBees, in Africa; and Pvt. Earl Levenseller, overseas. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Elijah Mercer of Randolph, a former pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in the spring.
