Obituary	EUGENE F. RUSSELL Eugene Frank Russell, 87, died suddenly in Kennebunkport Monday, Oct. 30. He was born in Exeter, August 14, 1880, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Augusta (Foss) Russell. He attended Exeter schools and graduated from Bliss Electrical School in Washington, D. C., after which he was employed by Central Maine Power Co. until his retirement in 1945. After his marriage to Anna Southerland in 1914 he lived in Gardiner until her death in 1941, after which be went to live with his niece and husband on Cape Elizabeth. He spent much time remodelling the interior of the drug store owned by his nephew in law and was well known for his professional work in caning chairs. He is survived by two sisters, Clara Lou Bridges, Hollywood, Florida and Marion Erma Bridges of Dexter; a sister-in-law, Flossie Adams, Garland, a niece, Mrs. Pauline Russell Berry, with whom he lived, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services were held Nov. 1 at the Christ Church in Kennebunk with burial in Gardined.
