Obituary	EDWIN B. SAWYER Edwin B. Sawyer, 90, a resident of Dexter the past 17 years, died early Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gladys McKenney, on the Cambridge Road. He was born in Linneus, Jan. 4, 1877, the son of Orville and Nancy (Sterritt) Sawyer. He was a resident of Linneus until 1923, moving to Pittsfield before coming to Dexter in 1951. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. McKenney, Mrs. Eva Bruce and Mrs. Rita Tejedor, both of Benton; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Laura Burton of Houlton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday in the Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel in Pittsfield with the Rev. Herbert Edge officiating. Burial was in the Pittsfield village cemetery.
