Obituary	SAMUEL STAPLES Samuel W. Staples, 81, died early Friday morning at a local nursing home following a long illness. He was born in Caribou, Feb. 6, 1886, the son of Warren and Martha Staples. Staples worked for many years as a weaver in land woolen mills. He also worked as a farmer. Survivors are nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home, Sunday with the Rev. Gordon Parlin officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
