Obituary	EUGENE CASTONGUAY Eugene R. Castonguay, 49, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home on Church Street. He was born at Waterville, Dec. 24, 1917, the son of Arthur Marie (Michaud) Castonguay. He had been foreman of quality control for 10 years at the Dexter Shoe Shop and previously lived in Skowhegan and had been employed for 15 years by the Norwock Shoe company. He was a member of the Waterville Elks Club and VFW, and the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Gallant) Castonguay; one son, Richard; one daughter, Mrs. Gail Lobdell; a brother, James of Winslow; a stepbrother, John Rancon of Boston; a stepsister, Mrs. Bernadette Lewis of Waterville; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass was held Tuesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church with the Rev. Lucien Mandeville officiating. Burial was at St. Francis DeSales Cemetery, Waterville.
