Obituary	MRS. BESSIE H. LITCHFIELD Mrs. Bessie H. Litchfield, 85, died at a Dexter hospital Sunday morning after a long illness. She was born Chatham, N. B. June 1, 1882. She had resided at Ripley for the greater part of her life. Survivors include two sons, Jack Murdock, Sr., of Dexter, and John Litchfield, Ripley; one sister, Ann Curtis, Dexter; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, Tuesday with the Rev. Gordon Parlin, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery, Augusta.
