Obituary	MARY LITCHFIELD Miss Mary W. Litchfield, 79, died Tuesday at Plummer Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born at Norwood, Mass., July 9, 1887, and had lived in Ripley and Dexter areas for the past 40 years. Miss Litchfield was a retired postmaster from Ripley and a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are a half brother, Roy Litchfield of Somerville, Mass; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Gordon Parlin will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
