Obituary	DOUGLAS A. DOW Douglas A. Dow, 69, of 500 Angell St., Providence, R. I. a retired wholesale yarn salesman and former Dexter resident, died May 15 at the Jane Brown Memorial Hospital, Providence. Born Aug. 20, 1897, in Sangerville, the son of James and Effie E. (Davis) Dow, he attended Dexter Schools and graduated from Dexter High School. He was a World War I veteran. For 21 years he was employed by the John F. Street Co. retiring in 1960. He is survived by his wife Charlotte H. (Taylor) Dow, a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Jordan, North Kingstown, R. I. and two grandchildren. Burial was in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
