Obituary	JOSEPH SCANNELL Joseph N. Scannell, 5-year-old son of Neal R. and Joan (Morrill) Scannell, died Tuesday morning at a Meriden, Conn. hospital following a long illness. Born Dexter, May 29, 1961, he is survived by his parents and three sisters, Cindy Ann, Sherry Lynn and Cathy-Jo, all of Meriden, Conn.; paternal grandfather, Neal L. Scannell and step-grandmother, Myra Scannell of Watertown, Conn.; paternal grandmother, Cyrilla Braley, Dexter; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Annie T. Hutchins and John E. Morrill, both of Buffalo, N. Y. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church at Dexter with the Rev. Lucien Mandeville officiating. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Ripey.
