Obituary
HENRY FORGETTE Henry Lewis Forgette, 89, husband of the late Gertrude (Thurston) Forgette, died early Saturday morning at the Plummer Hospital. Born October 23, 1877, at Stoneham, Mass., Forgette was a bookkeeper in Massachusetts before moving to Dexter some 35 years ago. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War; a member of the Shirley B. Carter Post, VFW, member of the First Universalist Church and deacon; a former member of Plymouth Odd Fellows Lodge and Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge of Dexter. Some years ago Forgette had worked with the Chamber of Commerce. Survivors included two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Una Thurston and Mrs. Georgia Jock; one brother-in-law Harry Thurston, all of Dexter, and a nephew, Norman Wiggin., Wakefield, Mass. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter Monday with the Rev. John FJ McNally Jr., pastor of the Universalist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
