Obituary	MRS. FRANCIS H. MORAN Mrs. Helen Bessey Moran, 70, widow of Francis H. Moran, died early Saturday at a New London hospital after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 20, 1897, in Parkman,, daughter of Seth and Mary Brown Bessey, graduated from Dexter High School in 1915 and lived here for a time after marriage. She spent most of her life in Bridgton, moving to Montville in 1960. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. George Adkins of Mystic, Conn.; Mrs. Harvey Rathbun of Uncasville, Conn., and Mrs. Philip Farrell of Newark, Del.; two sons, Francis A. of Orangevale, Calif., and Thomas E. of Norwick, Conn.; a brother, Elwood G. Bessey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Gagers Funeral Home, Norwich, followed by a Solemn Requiem Mass at St. John's Church. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Bridgton.
