Obituary
PHILIP S. FRASER Philip S. Fraser, 75, died Friday morning at his home in Dexter, following a long illness. He was born Oct. 16, l891 in St. Albans, the son of William and Daisy (Lancaster) Fraser. He was employed as a barber for many years in this area and had worked in the local mills until retirement several years ago. He was a member of the Pouliott-Seavey Post, American Legion. Surviving are two sons, Philip Jr., of Dexter and Lawrence of Dover-Foxcroft; one step-son, Frances Conley of Boston, Mass.; three daughters, Miss Madeline Fraser, with whom he made his home, Mrs. Alice Keene of Oxford and Mrs. Pauline Champion of Dexter; three sisters, Miss Alice Fraser and Mrs. Lilly Logan, both of Milford and Mrs. Phyllis Weatherbee of Hampden; 15 grandchildren and several cousins. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Mather, pastor of the Dexter First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Nutter Cemetery, later this spring.
