CLAYTON M. RICHARD A Requiem Mass was celebrated Saturday at St. Anne's Church for Clayton Maurice Richard, 40, who died suddenly last Thursday. The Rev. Lucien Mandeville officiated. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born in Dexter Jan. 27, 1926, the son of Anthony and Ethel (Robichaud) Richard and attended Dexter schools and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a member of the Cardinal Mercier Council, Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Dexter Junior Chamber of Commerce. For 15 years, he worked for the Landry Oil Company of Dexter. Survivors include his wife, Marlene (Provost) Richard; a son, Scott; two brothers, Sidney of Baltimore, Md., and Lionel of Dexter; a step-sister, Mrs. Mabel Knox of Dexter; one aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
