Obituary	WALTER S. DOW Walter S. Dow, 78, a former resident of Dexter and Dexter High School graduate, died January 25, at a Calais hospital following a long illness. He was born July 1, 1888, at Abbot, the son of Andrew and Adriana (Edes) Dow. He was retired from the St. Croix Paper Company where he had been employed as a secretary for 40 years. He was an attendant of the Princeton Congregational Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellen Dow of Princeton,; two sons, Russell J. Dow and Donald S. Dow both of Woodland; one daughter, Mrs. Louise McGrary of Manchester, N. H. three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at the Everett L. Scott and Son Funeral Home in Calais with the Rev. Claude D. Nutter of Princeton, officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
