Obituary	ELMER H. SMITH Elmer H. Smith, 45, of St. Albans, died Monday at a Hartland hospital shortly after admission. He was born at Sebec, April 8, 1921, the son of Royal and Maude (Ladd) Smith. He attended schools in Sebec and here and also Hartland Academy. A veteran of World War II, he was employed at the Hartland Tannery in Hartland. Survivors include his widow, Laura (Edwards) Smith; two daughters, Mrs. Diane Dunham, Miss Donna Smith; two sons, Dennis and Dean; and his mother, Mrs. Maude Smith, all of here; two brothers, Clarence of Dexter and Ernest of here; a half-brother, Charles Boyd of here and a half-sister, Mrs. June Nadeau of Bangor and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were to be held at the Union Church of St. Albans, with the Rev, Whitfield Curtis of Hartland officiating on Thursday. Spring burial will be in St. Albans village cemetery.
