Obituary	ARTHUR T. TEMPESTA Arthur T. Tempesta, 66, of Dexter, died last Thursday at a Waterville hospital following several month's illness. He was born in Italy May l3, 1900, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Umberto Tempesta. He and his family came to the United States in 1909 and lived in Lewiston until 1941. During that time, Tempesta was an active member of the Sons of Italy Club, serving as president. He was also a charter member of the organization. He moved to Norridgewock in 1941 where he was an executive of the Norrwock Shoe Company and a member of the Skowhegan Knights of Columbus. Moving to Dexter in 1964, he was an executive of the Dexter Shoe Company and a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Surviving are his widow, Rose (Frateschi) Tempesta of Dexter, formerly of Lewiston; one daughter, Mrs. John H. Cantlin Lincoln, Mass.; one son, Albert of Dexter; two brothers, John of Chelsea, Mass., and Louis of Auburn; one sister, Mrs. Felice Rocatano of Augusta; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter.
