Mrs. Pearl M. Rollins Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Rollins, wife of Pearl M. Rollins were held from the Crosby funeral parlors Wednesday forenoon at 10:30 o'clock the Rev. Walter Towle officiating. There were many beautiful flowers and a large attendance of friends. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery in the spring. The bearers were Earl Sawtelle, Jesse Hoyt, Harry Merrill and Carl Bates. Among those from out of town attending the services were Miss Dorothy Levenseller of Portland and Jesse Rollins of Everett, Mass. Mrs, Rollins died Saturday at the Plummer Memorial hospital after a year of failing health. She was born in Dexter 69 years ago, the daughter of Gustave and Ruby Crocker Weymouth, and with the exception of a few years in Waltham, Mass., she has lived here all her life. She attended Dexter high school and held positions as bookkeeper for the George Hall Canning Company and the Pine Tree Canning Company. She was a valued member of Dexter Grange, P. of H., and along with Mr. Rollins won a wide circle of friends as agents for the Grange insurance. Surviving are her husband; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Levenseller of Portland; two nieces, Mrs. Ruby Safford of Waterville and Miss Dorothy Levenseller of Portland.
